This specially formulated tan both shapes and sculpts the body immediately using Spray Tanning Body Contouring techniques and fuses the technology of Shrinking Violet and the amazing Beach Bum Tan.
What Is It?
A fusion of the active ingredients in Shrinking Violet Inch Loss Wrap and the organic Beach Bum Tan which offers no smell, great fade and a natural colour. Contour D’Or (CD) is a two phase system whereby your body is sculpted by first applying the darker ‘Noir’ followed by ‘Ombre’ to give definition and contour to the body and face. The active ingredients from Shrinking Violet will continue to work over the 72 hours.
Is Contour D’Or The Same As Shrinking Violet?
No. Shrinking Violet will give the best immediate and continued results and the wrap system continues to be the optimum inch loss treatment. It is not an ‘either’ ‘or’ treatment. They should not be compared. CD is an alternative for those who want a spray tan with a ‘bit extra’ and who cannot have a spray tan due to the oil residue of the Shrinking Violet Wrap.
Are There Contraindications?
Yes. You will need a full consultation with your trained therapist before treatment.
Is There Pre And Aftercare?
Yes, to get the optimum results from the treatment pre and aftercare should be followed. This will be explained by your therapist when booking.
Are We Measured?
This is up to the therapist as will depend if you are able to return within 72 hours to be measured again (clothing tends to be the best indicator) however, if measuring, you will not have your skin marked and will be measured using the floor to point method. You will not be measured straight from treatment so as to not disturb the tan, but can be measured after 8 hours as CD takes longer to work. You must not attempt to measure yourself and if cannot get back to the therapist, use clothing as an indicator.
Do I Have To Be Spray Contoured?
Yes, to feel and see the best results that is essential. You will have the benefit of the advanced training techniques.
Is The Tan Washed Off After 8 Hours?
Yes, normal tan procedure.
Will The Tan Finish/Fade Be Affected?
No, the active ingredients will not interfere with the tan process or finish.
What % DHA Is The Tan?
The Noir is 12% DHA, Ombre 9% DHA.

- 8am – NUMBERING STICKERS APPLICATION
- 8am – TAN APPLICATION: 1 OMBRE 9% | 2 NOIR 12%
- 4pm – 8 HOURS AFTER APPLICATION, RIGHT BEFORE SHOWER
- 4.30pm – 8.5 HOURS AFTER APPLICATION, 30 MINS AFTER SHOWER
- 7.30am NEXT DAY – 23.5 HOURS AFTER APPLICATION: 1 OMBRE 9% | 2 NOIR 12%
